Pharmacist Manager Full Time - More than $100,000 p.a About the Location: Our Client is located in a easter suburb in Lismore NSW. Originally developed as a dormitory suburb of Lismore and as a way of escaping the floods that periodically wash through the city center, This beautiful suburb has long since developed into a community in its own right. With a population of more than 12,000, effectively making it the third biggest town on the Northern Rivers after Lismore and Ballina. The level of facilities relied on by any major population centre. Families have a selection of highly regarded public and private primary and secondary schools to send their children too. The community has three shopping centres, housing a Coles and IGA supermarket along with a wide variety of specialty stores ranging from bakeries and butchers and clothes shops. A fourth shopping centre housing a giant Woolworth supermarket and still more specialty shops is nearing completion. Located only 30 minutes driving to Ballina, NSW and 1 hour 40 minutues driving to Gold Coast in QLD.

About the Role: This is a great opportunity to further develop your skills and join a community-based pharmacy that offers an excellent work-life balance. You will be part of a team between retail manager, pharmacist assistance, dispense technician and another pharmacist. The Pharmacist Manager is responsible for the total store (front of shop and dispensary), while co-ordinating day to day operations and customer service toachieve all store objectives. This position has overall accountability for pharmacy compliance and store performance, and will provide regular reports to and liaise with the Pharmacy Group Manager.

Buying and stock control managed within Pharmacy requirements
Banking and financial systems implemented and monitored
Regulatory controls and security processes implemented and monitored
Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to grow the business. Committing to advertising and promotions within the guidelines communicated by management.
Manage daily Human Resources planning, queries and follow up, provide feedback on performance to team members
Concerns regarding remuneration or any serious performance issue leading to possible termination must first be discussed with the Pharmacy Group Manager
Ensure company policies and procedures are implemented
Manage expenses, any capital expenditure above $100 to be approved by Pharmacy Group Manager
May not sell below established discount limits.
Must follow the company's policies, procedures and ethos.
Cannot partake in any activities which would be deemed as a conflict of interest in your role with the pharmacy.
Must not participate in serious misconduct as this will lead to termination of employment.
Where there is a dispute between yourself and a team member, customers or suppliers this is to be referred to your manager at the earliest instance. Cannot dispose, sell or purchase any capital asset without approval of the manager. To Be Successful In This Role:
Previous responsibility in a supervisory position with successful performance over a reasonable period of time
Must have a good understanding of relevant workplace legislation including Pharmaceutical legislation, Industrial Relations, Health and Safety
Ability to delegate by involving subordinates in decision making, operations and projects
Ability and willingness to identify problems from performance data and act quickly to seek/effect a solution
Ability to develop skills of subordinates for current and future roles through a variety of training and development activities
Ability to understand the concepts underpinning accounting procedures and utilize procedures such as Inventory Control, Sales Documentation, Cash Reports, Sales Reporting and Forecasting to manage and control business operations effectively.
Undertake strategic planning for the pharmacy.
Assist in the maintenance of appropriate ethical standards in relation to the pharmacy.
Maximise sales by ensuring that stock levels of the pharmacy are correct and that all stock is presented and well promoted.
Ensure the annual stock take is conducted by 30 June each year.
Ensure that all advertising of the pharmacy is conducted in accordance with the pharmacy's policies and relevant legislation.
Maintain the store environment and its fittings to an acceptable standard.
Maintain the quality management system and ensure compliance with QCPP requirements.
