About The Role:
This is a great opportunity to further develop your skills and join a community-based pharmacy that offers an excellent work-life balance. You will be responsible for the day to day tuning of the dispensary including  counselling customers, stock ordering and control. This is privately owned pharmacy. This role requires to travel to another Island twice a year for a period of four days with accommodation and flight tickets provided.

  • Hourly rates: Negotiable       
  • Scripts per day: 50-60
  • Dispense: LOTS
  • Trading hours:
          Monday: 9am - 5pm
          Tuesday: 9am - 5pm
          Wednesday: 9am - 5pm
         Thursday: 9am - 5pm
          Friday: 9am - 5pm
          Saturday: 9am - midday

     To Be Successful In This Role:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy 
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Professional liaison with internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing medication reviews with the Medical Director of the Hospital is a requirement
  • Promotion and sales of retail products.
  • Responsibility of the preparation and distribution of the Webster packs
  • Maintain QCPP accreditation standards.
  • Supervise and train one part time staff member
  • Meet all governance required of a pharmacist
  • Provide all paperwork to related to Government Contracts
  • Provide monthly reporting to management
  • Meet Pharmacy Board requirements
  • A genuine desire to build and maintain a strong rapport with the community
Desirable:
  • The pharmacist being qualified to undertake home medication reviews.
  • Experience in Sleep Apnea management.
  • Qualification to provide flu vaccinations.
